MONTHLY TUITION / ADDITIONAL FEES
Tuition is due the 1st of each month.  A $15 late fee is accessed if payment is not received by the 10th.  If you pay 6 months in advance, you will receive a 10% discount / Full year 20%

CLASS DROP/SWITCH
When your child is registered at Arizona Edge, it is with the understanding to commit to the full season of dance; that being eleven months/Aug.-June, with the Recital being in June. In the event that a child does not want to continue in any class, a written "class drop" form must be turned in to our Office, before the 1st of the coming month. Ex.: The date is Sept. 25, 2009 and the child does not wish to remain in her Jazz class. The parent waits until the next week to hand in the "class drop" form; it is now Oct. 2, therefore, the parent would be liable for October's tuition. The same procedure is necessary if a child wishes to "switch" classes. Students have until November 1st to switch or add classes.


ADDITIONAL CLASS INFO
Any class at Arizona Edge is subject to closure due to lack of enrollment and/or teacher availability. There must be 5 students to keep a class open.

All classes will have a maximum amount of students permitted. Total number allowed will vary according to style of class and amount of space needed; however, classes will never exceed 15 students. Tots classes with one teacher will be limited to 8 students; if there is an assistant teacher we will allow up to 12.


RECITAL FEES / POLICIES
A $50 recital fee is required per student. All recital fees must be paid in full by February 15th. Included in this fee are two tickets to our annual recital. This also helps cover rental fees and production costs.

Consistant attendance is necessary for students to be fully prepared for their performance. Excessive absences within eight weeks of the spring recital may result in removal from the show. It is also required that all students attend the Dress Rehearsal before the final performance. This is their first experience to become familiar the stage and lights and ensures that they understand how the show will run. Any student that does not attend dress rehearsal will not be permitted to perform in the recital.

Some classes may be asked to perform in multiple shows. Tots classes will always be within the first 45 minutes of the recital.


COSTUMES
At Arizona Edge we pride ourselves on maintaining a modest costume policy; as well as having custom made costumes for all classes. Costume are required for recital classes only. Prices include tights and any necessary accessories. Shoes are not included. A 50% costume deposit, per costume, is required at the time of registration. Costume balances will be due no later than November 10th. Recital costumes will not be ordered without full payment, no exceptions! Payments received after Nov. 10 will be charged a 10% late fee per costume.

All students will be measured by the Arizona Edge staff. For dancers ages 12 yrs. & under, we will add 1-1.5  inches to each measurement to leave room for growth. Please be aware that costumes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable; please specify to the staff if you believe your child requires a specific/special size. If a child’s measurements are on the cusp our policy is to always choose to go with the bigger size. Any necessary alterations will be the responsibility of the child’s parents.


STUDIO DRESS CODE
All students will be expected to follow our dress code.  This will ensure that we are maintaining a professional environment at all times.  Students not in proper dress code will be asked to call home for the correct attire. When in any dance class, a student's hair should be tied back, away from their face.

TOTS / KINDERDANCE (ages 3-6 yrs.) - Any color Leotard, with or without a skirt; any color Tights; Shorts Unitards; Tutus are OK.
SHOES - Pink Ballet shoes, TAN "Mary-Jane" style Tap shoes, TAN Jazz shoes, preferrable slip-on (Tots do NOT need Jazz shoes)

BALLET (ages 7 & up) - Pink or Black Leotard; Pink TIghts; Hair must be secure in a bun, no bangs; Cotton/Soffe type shorts are NOT permitted in Ballet class; Black Booty Shorts, Ballet Sweaters or Leg-Warmers are OK; NO other clothing will be allowed... This will be strictly enforced.
SHOES - we prefer a Canvas Ballet shoe; any brand

JAZZ, LYRICAL, JUMPS & TURNS, TAP (ages 7 & up) - Any style/color Leotard, Camisole or Reg. Tank, Fitted Tee; Jazz Pants, Booty Shorts, Capri Length Sweats; NO Sports Bras or Bra Tops without a top over it.
SHOES: Jazz, Lyrical, Jumps & Turns; Foot Undeez, Dance Paws or Gore Boots are appropriate / Tap; preferrably Bloch "Audeo", "Respect", "Tap Flex" or something comparable.

MUSICAL THEATRE - Comfortable, movable clothes; Leotards and tights are not necessary but are ok; NO Jeans, NO dresses or skirts without a leotard underneath.  Students will be barefoot.

HIP-HOP - Any comfy, baggy type clothes; Tee Shirts, Tanks, Sweats, Basketball type shorts; NO Jeans, NO shorts above the knee
SHOES: Students must have sneakers/tennis shoes, NO Flip Flops or Sandles

GENERAL POLICIES
Arizona Edge prides itself on being a family oreinted studio. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person whose conduct, in the opinion of the Owner and/or Director, may bring harm to themselves or others or could jeapordize the integrity of our studio.

We will not tolerate any child that is rude, disruptive or disrespectful to another student or any staff member, including assistant teachers and office staff. This kind of behavior may result in removal from our program entirely, but will be to the discretion of the Owner/Director on how to handle any such issue that may arise.

Children will not be permitted in the dance rooms without their teacher present. Parents are never permitted in the dance rooms unless asked by their child's teacher. Replacement of any studio equipment, mirrors, etc., that is tampered with or broken by anyone not employeed by Arizona Edge, LLC, will be the responsibility of said party.

Food and drink are not allowed inside any dance rooms.  Please refrain from chewing gum anywhere inside the studio.  Water bottles are always welcome and suggested :)

Parents will be responsible for keeping in contact with the studio, upcoming events, etc. Teachers will send home notices periodically with any necessary info and our website will always be up-to-date.

***Any question or concern that may arise must first be directed to the Office either in studio, via email or phone call. Parents are not permitted to approach a teacher, for any reason, in the middle of their work day. If your issue cannot be resolved by our Office staff, you must fill our a "Request a Meeting" form; your child's teacher will then contact you to set up a meeting. We greatly appreciate that the parents respect the teacher's position and workplace.***


REGISTRATION
There is a $35 registration fee due at the time of enrollment; $50 for family (2 or more students) This is a one-time, annual fee; returning students will only be charged $20 each year after their first.

Complete registration includes; entire registration form filled out by parent or guardian, including home address, home/cell phone number, emergency contact info.; debit/credit card form**; all upfront required fees paid, including first month's tuition and costume deposits; terms & agreement portion of form signed by parent or guardian.

**Arizona Edge requires that all members have a credit card on file! **No Exceptions!** Your debit/credit card is not charged unless any payment due is not received on the required date. 


MISC. INFO
Arizona Edge excepts payments in the form of Cash, Personal/Business Check and Visa or Mastercard.
A 3% processing fee is applied to each debit/credit card transaction.

**$25 fee on all returned checks

**$15 late fee is added to monthly tuition after the 10th of the month

**Any payment that is made after a required due date is subject to a $15 late fee

***There are no refunds on monthly tuition, registration fees, recital fees or costume payments
